For nearly 30 years, Momma Kay’s salsa has brought family and friends together. Made with fresh ingredients—many grown right in her backyard garden—it became a favorite among her sons’ friends, who lovingly came to know her as “Momma Kay.” After more than 30 years as an educator and beloved member of her community, the name stuck. And after years of hearing, “You need to sell this stuff,” her son finally convinced her to give it a shot. Today, Momma Kay’s carries forward the name, recipe, and spirit of generosity that friends, family, and her community have loved for decades.
